March 1, 2005 LWT Communications & LWT/KBK New Media Top Winners In American Advertising AwardsMontgomery, Alabama - LWT Communications, a Montgomery, Alabama based advertising and marketing firm and sister company, LWT/KBK New Media, a Web design and development company, received a grand total of 72 ADDY® Awards in the Montgomery Advertising Federation’s 2004-2005 American Advertising Awards. Together, the firms earned 14 Gold ADDY® Awards, 58 Silver ADDY® Awards and Designer of the Year, walking away with more than half the professional awards handed out at the event, held on February 25 at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts . “It’s wonderful for us and for our clients to have our work recognized by industry peers.” said LWT partner Jim Leonard. “We are fortunate to work with great people - our loyal clients in addition to our extremely talented creative team.” LWT Communications, owned by Jim Leonard and David Allred, was founded in 1959, making it one of Alabama’s first advertising and marketing firms.
